Our outstanding and caring faculty make the Music Institute of Chicago unique among music schools.  Comprised of warm, engaging, experienced and dedicated educators and performers, our faculty, nearly 200 in number, hold degrees from some of the world’s finest schools of music.  Each has a passion for community music education and a track record as an outstanding studio, classroom or ensemble teacher.  Many MIC faculty members perform regionally, nationally and internationally and are featured as guest master class clinicians, panelists and adjudicators.
