MIC Academy and Lake Forest Academy Collaborate

The Music Institute of Chicago’s Academy will partner with the Lake Forest Academy college-preparatory boarding and day school next year to provide school and housing for Academy students studying here from abroad. The perfect partnership, the Lake Forest Academy works to prepare students with the intellectual, cultural, and interpersonal skills necessary to succeed in the global community, while the Academy prepares students for rigorous conservatory training with a comprehensive music education curriculum. The first student accepted in both programs is 13-year-old Mei Zhan from Shenyang, China.
